Among the many milestones and achievements within our short history, are victories in helping workers get reinstated into their positions of employ. We have successfully defended cases against Unfair Dismissals. We have helped workers negotiate higher salaries.

Currently Retusa has 5500 members and has a target of reaching 20 000 in the next 5 years.
Retusa is a registered union, in line with Labour Relation Act no 66 of 1995, section 96.(7)(a).
The certificate of registration was issued on 18 May 2016, reference no: LRA 2/6/2/2459.
